How to Use SKILLR
Anxious to get your problems solved, questions answered and brain entertained? Much like your favorite makeup commercial tagline in middle school, using SKILLR is easy, breezy… you get the gist. This breakdown of how to use the SKILLR App will have you chatting with the pros and getting shit done in no time.

On your phone, go to the App Store for iPhone, search up “SKILLR” and click download. We don’t believe in charging hefty fees so downloading the SKILLR App is always free.
Ready, set, go
After you’ve downloaded the app, you’re all ready to use it! Don’t worry though, if you’re feeling hesitant, you can check out what the SKILLR marketplace is all about without making an account. But if you decide to start a session or use a free intro session credit, you’ll be prompted to create one (and we’re crossing our fingers you will).
To create an account, you’ll need to enter your name, phone number, email and date of birth. You won’t be asked for your credit card info until after you’ve used your free session.
Keep in mind, we don’t charge subscription fees in this house. Instead, you’ll be charged for SKILLR sessions at a per-minute rate (after you’ve used your first free session, of course). The first minute of a session is always free so you and your Skillr have some time to set up and get ready to work together.
First one’s free
Your first two-minute session is on us. Yup, that’s right. It’s free.99 to chat with your first Skillr. No credit card required. You can speak to any Skillr with a rate of a $1 per minute for your free session. If you want to keep talking to your Skillr beyond the first two minutes, you can rebook them at their per-minute rate.
It’s a match
Now that you’ve set up an account, SKILLR goes to work to find you a match for whatever you need. When you’re ready to set up a session, browse the SKILLR genres (fitness, comedy, makeup, cooking, tarot, home improvement, etc.) and book.
There are two ways to book on the app:
Book Now: Want to chat with your fave Skillr right now? If they’re available, you can hit book now to connect immediately. If your Skillr is away from their phone for some reason, we’ll connect you with another Skillr ASAP.
Instant Match: The Instant Match option is perfect for when you need help, advice or entertainment on the fly. To instantly match with a Skillr, hit the Instant Match button, select a skill and an available Skillr will get on a call with you right then and there.
